Located in Richmond, VA., Beta Gamma Lambda is the instrument by which Alpha men of the Greater Richmond area come together to carry out the aims and ideals of Alpha Phi Alpha, to be"First of all, servants of all, and to transcend all"through"Manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind".
For nearly 70 years Beta Gamma Lambda has worked in Richmond to carry it out its chief principal,"the promotion of scholarship, brotherly love and the mutual association of men".

Young Achievers Session |
The BGL Go To High School Go To College Committee is looking for additional brothers to become one on one mentors in the YA program. We thank the brothers who have answered the call and ask that they attend this weekend's meeting, Saturday, October 25, 2008 between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m at Armstrong High.
You will have an opportunity to meet the young men and complete necessary forms.
We ask that all BGL brothers come out to see what we are doing as Alpha Men to help the teens.
